In loving memory of Charlie will say a prayer for you and your family, and wishing you eternal peace and hapiness now and forever. Thanks for your sacrifices during WW-II in keeping us all safe in this country too, and we will never forget what you and other veterans did to protect this county and will always love you for it.

Charlie and family, I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I will remember him fondly with all his quirks and love of fishing and his dogs. His crazy do it yourself watering system and the day I helped him rescue a bird caught in wiring on his deck. His many chain saws and collection of free (ant infested) firewood. His nightly baked potato. And so many more memories... My deepest sympathies.

Sorry to hear about your dad's passing. Glad I had the chance to meet him. All the Bassett hounds in heaven now have a great friend to take them for their daily walks.

Dear Rumpelt Children:

My family ,and I, were sadden upon hearing of your Dad's passing. He and your Mom, were our first neighbors in Jericho. It was a pleasure to have known them.

Wini, Cathy, Louise, Caroline, Charlie and Andrew, I am sorry. Your dad loved and enjoyed you all completely. I will pray for the repose of his soul and for all of you.

Three memories jump into mind of your dad. Lots of time snapper fishing. He spent most time baiting hooks and untangleing the lines.
Infinate catches when "Dewy" was only four years old.
Your dad was always on the move. When he saw me he'd ask me a question,I'd answer, he'd look surprised, brighten his eyes and smile as if to say, "really"? Then turn away shaking his head. I laugh thinking about the regularity of this reaction.
God Bless and love to you all,
Christy (East Islip, NY)
