Charles Altman Scruggs Jr.

I also worked in Stage ll in the 1970's. I left for a full time job in 1981. Then my own father died suddenly three weeks later. A floral arrangement arrived for me at the funeral home from Mr. Scruggs and Castner Knott. I have always remembered that kindness--I was a former, part-time employee and yet he still showed such thoughtfulness. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. God bless.

I am sorry to hear about Mr. Scruggs. I worked at Castner Knott's Green Hills/Stage 2 while in school -- 1970's. We had a juke box in the department, and he would always come over and punch in Tie a Yellow Ribbon Around the Old Oak Tree. Quite a joy to work for; had a lot of respect for him. Sorry for your loss!

The family I express my deepest sympathy. I worked for Charles for six years back in the 70's. Those were good years for which I am thankful that he touched my life.
