Barbara,
I am very sorry to hear about Charles. I will always remember the
wonderful times we had together
when Papa, Barbie and Sofia were
little. My mom loved Charles and so
did I. He was always there for the
family. When I think of him I see
him laughing or with a big smile. He truly knew how to enjoy life and the
people he loved. Please give my condolences to Chalrles Jr., Barbie
and Sofia. Remember that you and
the children have family that loves
you in Brownsville. You have my E-Mail in case you want to contact me.

My wife KC and I had the pleasure of hosting two trips that Dr. and Mrs. Shears traveled on thru the University of Texas Alumni Association's "Flying Longhorns". One to San Francisco to watch UT and Stanford and the other to Europe. Both Dr. and Mrs. Shears made both of these trips memorable, as their fun for life, charm and kindness were shared amply with the rest of us on these trips. I just wanted to share this with the Shears family, Dr. Shears was a truly gifted and blessed man and he shared those gifts with all who knew him on a daily basis. May God bless you all, surely he has a special place for Dr. Shears in heaven.

Dr. Shears was one of the kindest men I've ever met. He was a true gentleman. I knew Dr. Shears from work at the church and I used to see him & Mrs. Shears at restaurants all the time. He always had a kind word. My condolences to Mrs. Shears and all of the family.

I was so sorry to hear about Dr. Shears passing. As with so many of us, he started my career in Dentistry and we were lucky to have him in our lives. He showed all of us about equal care for anyone, no matter what your color or bank acct. I'm sure that Doris Levine was waiting there for him on Sat. with a "List of things we need to go over" as she did each day when she was still here. Love to Barbara,Charlie, Barbara, and Sophia, Sicerely; P.J. Silvetti and Nick Nickolaus

Charles is one of my favorite people ever -- a true gentleman of depth and character. Incredible man.
We met at the Memorial Park Golf Course Driving range several years ago and became friends.
We had many good conversations between practice shots about golf, life, business, politics, and the most important topic of all to Charles -- his lovely bride, Barbara, and his family.
We all love you, Charles. God bless you, and God bless your family.
