I remember you often. I walked to your office with a burning fever in February, without a coat and a rare snow in the ground in Cairo. You gave me medicine and had me lie down in the office for hours because I couldn't stop vomiting or shaking from chills. You checked on me often and had your nurse Stella sit with me. Stella took me home when the office closed. You gave me medicine from your office to take at home and told me to come back soon. You did not ask for money. I had none in any case. I was 15 years old in 1971, and my guardian did not believe I was sick. I had bilateral nephritis. I'm only one of many you treated, but I'd wager all remember you with love for your kindnesses.
