Charles (Dick) Sperry

After reading his obituary, and hearing stories, it seems that he sure made a difference in the world, and in the lives of his loved ones. We're so glad to have met one of the few good souls in the world.

One day when Charles was at my house we where talking and had a crazy idea.So I have a turtle and she lives in a 40 gallon tank (she is aquatic).I was showing Charles a picture of a floating dock I wanted to make for her but then he had a idea. We could make a custom turtle tank! So all night and weekend that my Grandparents were at my house.We where brainstorming ideas he said he would ask one of his friend to make a blueprint of the turtle tank we came up with.And he did and it was super awesome to see it in a 3D model. We never ended up finishing the project but it was a super fun thing I worked on with him.

A favorite memory I have with Charles is whenever I would visit he would sit down with me and talk about my horse riding journey.He was always amazed when I would tell him story´s about the barn and my horse´s.And thought it was unbelievable how I can control a massive animal that has a brain if it´s own.
We would spend hours of talking about it and he would ask sooooo many questions some i didn´t even know the answer too.That was definitely a highlight too any trip to see my Nana and Grandpa Charles.
