I had the honor of meeting Mr.Charlie and Mrs. France years ago at the health Food Store. Like others , I to have lots of memories and stories to hold on to. Our prayers are with the family of Mr. Charlie, also our deepest sympathy and love. We know it will be hard, but leave your faith in the Lord, and he will get you through the tuff days ahead. Yes, Mr. Charlie was very proud of his children and Grandchildren, and always let you know how they were doing on Saturday when he would walk over to visit with Dr. T. at the office. It was a pleasure knowing him. May the Lord bless all of you.

I worked at the Esso Research Laboratories from August, 1964 to December, 1966. It was my great pleasure to know Charley during that brief time. As one who had lived in Ohio and Michigan until the time of my work at the Laboratories, I am sure that Charley considered me a "Yankee." We were friends of Dr. Warren and Ginger Locke while in Baton Rouge. As a result of this friendship, I struck up a correspondence with Charley a number of years ago and always enjoyed any mail I received from him. I had just learned how to enclose some clip art into my messages, and Charley always told me how much he enjoyed them.
He will be missed. He always seemed to have a smile on his face, and, as has been noted, was a marvelous story teller. My expressions of sympathy to his survivors.

Dear Tessiers,You are in my prayers in the loss of Mr. Charles. To say that I have great respect and admiration for him would be not be the whole truth;as I feel this way about all of you. In addition to knowing Mr. Charles;I was proud to have worked with Tommy for many years, been friends with Jack and still count Pat as a wonderful friend too. I have warmest feelings for other Tessiers too. You may be known to have many stories and "tall" tales: Many in Baton Rouge and Spanish Town also know you have kind and generous hearts too. May God Bless You! Lots of Love,Cliff

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Mrs. Frances Tessier and Dr.Charles Tessier III and Family, my deepest sympathy go out to you on the passing of your husband and dad. I always remember Mr. Tessier recalling some of his many adventures. He always praised my work at the health food store. He could have been a comedian, you know. He kept me laughing at the things he would say. I will continue to keep you in prayer.
