Age 95, surrounded by family on Monday, March 19, 2018 of Mount Oliver. Son of the late William J. and Matilda (Kalb) Thurner; beloved husband of the late Frances B. (Kreuz) Thurner; loving father of James (Mary) Thurner, Judith Thurner, Linda Thurner, Cheryl (Bill) Hays and Donna (Dale) McDonough; grandfather of 12; great- grandfather of 20; brother of the late Doris Yochum, Claire Meixner, Marlene Fabus, Orville and Dale Thurner. Family and Friends received Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the READSHAW FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1503 Brownsville Rd., Carrick. Funeral Prayer Friday at 9:30 a.m. following a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in the Holy Apostles Parish Saint Basil Church. Send condolences to

All our sympathy to the Thurner family
Chuck and Fran were our neighbors for 6 years when we lived on Engstler St. They were so good to us and our two small children. I still have a manger that chuck made and I have used it every year since (46 years).

I remember working with Charlie in the shows
we used to do in the Church Hall at St. Joe's
in Mt. Oliver years ago. He was such a great guy and a lot of fun to be around. He will be missed by a lot of folks that always enjoyed his company. My prayers to his Family
and may he be with the Good Lord in Haven.

Jim and Family, I am so sorry for the loss of your Dad. My Mom and Dad had many happy times with your Dad. Your Dad and Mom were in St. Joseph Choir. Many happy memories. May God give you the strength you need to get through this difficult time. God Bless. Rest in Peace Mr. Thurner.
