A life well-lived. Rest in peace Dr. Ward. It was a true pleasure and honor to have worked with you.

Will always remember Dr. Ward's presence at movies at Red River Theatres, usually accompanied by his good friend Stella Scheckter, or old traveling friends, Bob and Beverly Smith, who particularly loved our CASABLANCA night events, having visited Morocco together!

"Uncle Joe" will be missed by all McIntyre offspring. I spent part of my 16th summer as live-in child minder, and even then appreciated his quiet sense of humor and unfailing patience. Our adult visits always included more questions than focus on himself; he was genuinely interested in others. Peace and hugs to the immediate family.

Newly moved to Concord in 1966 I became quite ill at home late at night and had no doctor. Dr. Ward the on-call at the Clinic was at home. He asked for my address on the Heights and very shortly was at my bedside and my PC until he left the Clinic. A truly nice man and caring physician who served the community well.
