I just heard the sad news of Charles's passing from another friend from the Greencastle class of '59. Charles (Who will always be "TT" to us) was a good friend who will be sorely missed. I would like to extend my condolences to his family, who will surely miss him terribly.

To the Williams family, please accept my deepest condolences to you. I am a class of 1959 Greencastle Hight School graduate classmate of Charles. We grew up only one block apart in the "south end" of Greencastle. We played a lot of backyard football with him and other neighborhood kids. Charles was a great Football and Track athlete. I will miss his humor and seeing him at our 5 year alumni class reunions. Sincerely,
Tracy Williams

I worked for and with Charlie from 1977-1987 at the Marion Co. Sheriff's Dept. He always encouraged us to be professional in all our dealings with the public. I know that he really enjoyed that "hobby". May God bless your family.

Dear Carmen and Family,
I proudly worked for Capt. Williams when he served the Marion County Sheriffs Dept. in the 1970's. Words are not adequate to express my condolences for your loss. My fondest memories were the times I got to spend with the Capt. He was a remarkable leader and he taught me so much. I never new what he did for GM, but I can certainly understand why he excelled in Human Resources. My prayers will be with you and his kids and May God wrap You with his Presence. Capt. Williams will never be forgotten. Paul Ulrich, Dunlap, TN

I have much admiration for the leadership he demonstrated as well has his great since of humor. I am also fortunate to have visited with Charlie late last year at the reserve reunion. I am grateful to have known Charlie. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
