Not sure what to say?

December 28, 2011

I was saddened to learn of Mr. Williams passing. I attended Broughton Williams School for Boys in 1954-55. I was 4-5 years old but still remember him as a strong father figure to all of us little guys.
May he rest in peace.

Mr. Williams, as we called him, was a big part of my childhood. He drove Jill and me to school each day and always gave us a reason to smile. Later as an adult, I always enjoyed talking to "Brute" when I would call to speak to Jill. He will be greatly missed.

My brother and I would like to extend to your family our smypathy for the loss of Broughton. Our mother Aliene Bessie Conner just celebrated her 90th birthday and loved your family but she now suffers from Alzheimer's and is unable to send her condolences.

Our deepest sympathy to the Williams Family at this time of loss.

I briefly knew Broughton from buisness over twenty years ago, and still vividly recall his visits. I can honestly say I always enjoyed his visits along with Chip, to Odessa. He always had a zest for life and a good story to tell, and always a smile. He was a good man, and will be missed by many.
