I´m so sad to hear of Scott´s passing. I met him right out of college when I worked for Peabody Coal in the Denver office. I continued to work with him when I was employed by John T Boyd company and later by Salt River Project, basically my entire career. I appreciated his knowledge, his amicability even when we were on opposite sides of the negotiating table, and social interactions at RMCMI events. His family has my condolence and all my sympathy.

Paula and family, it was with great sadness that we learned of Scott's passing. Scott was quite a character who loved life, family, friends and the world around him. It was always great fun to be at parties with Scott and we enjoyed sharing world travel stories with you both. Sharing a bourbon or a glass of red with Scott was always fun and often ended up with a bit of a headache the next morning! I worked with and for Scott for many years at Peabody, both in Colorado and here in Arizona. The support from Scott in the latter years at the Kayenta Mine was very much appreciated. It is too early to leave us Scott - you will be greatly missed. God bless.

Our condolences to Paula and the entire family. I will always remember our "meetings" in Steamboat that involved one of Scott's favorite "firewater's" at one of the local establishments and our other "meetings" on the slopes. Not a lot accomplished but lots of fun with him. Scott had such a zest for life and lived it to it's fullest only matched for his love of family. Too young to go so soon. God's speed my friend.
