**In Loving Memory of Charles**
Today, I find myself reflecting on the profound impact that Charles had on my life, despite the fact that we never met in person. Our connection blossomed in a cancer support group on Facebook (my father had the same type of cancer), where his strength and resilience shone brightly, inspiring so many of us who were navigating similar paths.
Charles faced his battle with cancer with a courage that was nothing short of remarkable. I will always remember how, even while fighting his own fight, he took the time to support others, including me during my own heartache when I lost my father to the same illness. His kindness and empathy were a beacon of hope in a dark time, and I will forever be grateful for the comfort he provided.
To his family, please know that Charles was not just a friend to those of us online; he was a source of inspiration and a true warrior. His spirit will live on in the hearts of everyone he touched. I hope you find solace in the love and admiration that surrounds you during this difficult time.
Thank you, Charles for being a light in our lives. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Rest in peace.

I remember Charlie when he was very young. Would meet his dad, David at their house to go officiate a football or basketball games, and Charlie was always a very nice young man who wanted to know all about the games. I remember when he was older, Charlie and David would have competition playing golf, to see who was better on a given day. RIP Charlie, you're not hurting anymore. I know David, Beth and the rest of the family and friends were there to welcome you to your new home in heaven.
