DIXON (Charley) Died 20th December 2013 We, Charley's wife Kitty and their children Margaret, Sharon and Brendan wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss, those who travelled long and short distances, telephoned and sent Mass cards. Thanks to Mr Donnellan and Dr Brosnan, the staff of Oncology Unit, Mayo General Hospitall, especially the nurses Deirdre and Joan for their kindness. To Dr Molloy, Ailish and staff for the tremendous support. We would like to thank the Public Health Nurses, Carol Tighe and Ann Reilly for their constant support during Charley's illness. Special thanks to the Palliative Care Team in Belmullet and Ballina. To Aine Kelly and Pauleena Queenan, your efforts will never be forgotten. To Gill Gavin for her diligence and support in Charley's final days. Sincere gratitude to Margaret Monaghan who looked after Charley for the past year. Your kindness and support were much appreciated. We would like to thank the staff of Lavelle's Chemist in both Belmullet and Killala. To Damien, Olivia, Mary Joyce, Maria, Stephen and Ellie who helped in every way possible. Thanks to Fr Kevin Hegarty for all his support and visits during Charley's illness and also for a lovely funeral Mass. To Fr James Corcoran for his prayers and visits during Charley's final days. Sincere gratitude is extended to Rev. Molly Deatherage who visited in Ballina. We would like to give a special mention to the local fishermen who provided a guard of honour and thanks to the gravediggers who prepared Charley's final resting place. To all our wonderful neighbours in Tallagh, thank you. We would like to acknowledge especially those who gave tremendous support to Charley and all the family in the last year. Sincere gratitude to Pat Dixon, Mary Togher, Annie Mai Walsh, TJ and Kathleen McIntyre, John and Anna McNulty, Peter and Nora Kennedy, Val and Monica Hughes, to Alan, Alec, Eva and Mark Petrie, thank you. Thanks to McDonnell/Conroy Funeral Directors for their professionalism and help over the days of the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment is accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of a Mass will be offered for the intentions of all. Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in Church of the Holy Family, Carnfowler, 17th January at 11am.
