Condolences for Charlie Hodge family. Such a great gospel singer on his own or with his wonderful relationship with Elvis Presley. I know both of them are singing together in heaven. Glad to have known this gentle soul of Charlie Hodge. Always smiling and making Elvis fans feel like family.

My Condolences for the the family of Charlie Hodge. It has been 18 years since your passing, I know Charlie is up in heaven with all the Elvis friends. Charlie always lit up the room when he walked through the door. Always great to the Elvis fans. Charlie was Elvis's sidekick.

Sweet loving Charlie, has it really been 18 years? I remember like yesterday the last time we talked. You were determined to beat Cancer. If only God did not need you to be in Heaven with Elvis. We would have taken any extra time we could have gotten with you! Rest easy and say Hi to Elvis for me.

I never knew of Charlie until 2023 when I suddenly became an Elvis fan. What a great man he seemed to be. I have read so many books on Elvis and Charle is front and center in Elvis´s life. He truly was a great artist and faithful friend. Thank you to Jennifer for republishing Charlie´a book. He was a great man.

Charlie Hodge will always be remembered as Elvis's friend. Charlie talked to us fans always smiling, and happy. Charlie had a great sense of humor. Loved singing gospel music. RIP Charlie Hodge.

I met Charlie around the late 80s in Norwich, Norfolk, England. A gentleman and an interesting man to meet and talk with. I cannot recall why he was in England. What a fascinating life he led.

When my husband was playing in Pigeon Forge at Memories theatre with Will Stiles and Jerry Lee. I had the honour of sitting backstage talking with Charlie about his time with Elvis. I told him I’d been a fan since I first heard him sing. When Charlie passed Jennifer sent us two of his guitar picks and several photos. He gave me his book Elvis and me and signed it. I’ll always treasure it. I know he’s up in heaven with Elvis and JD singing. May they all Rest In Peace

Knowing Charlie and being part of his world for many years changed my life forever. He was kind, gentle and always caring. Love you my sweet Charlie. You boys have fun up there!

Charlie was best friend to Elvis. He lived with E;vis for years. Charlie was a jocker. He alwys found ways to bring Elvis up from bad moods and Elvis loved him for it. I dont think Elvis would have survived for long without Charlie to help get him out of depression and bad moods . He was a wonderful friend to Elvis. He loved Elvis and Elvis loved him in his own way.I miss Elvis but I also miss Charlie too. RIP Charlie you are greatly missed.

Thank you for your service in the US Army ! And thank you for being a loyal aide/friend to Elvis in your life. I also like the fact you had roles/jobs on Elvis movies. The movie, Charro you play a Mexican peon, and as Elvis rides into town, you are wearing a red serape and a wide brimmed straw hat. When I re-see that good cowboy movie (Charro!) I like seeing that scene with you in it. My condolences to the Hodge family for your loss.

Almost winter again Charlie. Glad you are where it is warm and beautiful. You never did like the cold. You are still missed by us all but solace in knowing you guys are all together entertaining heaven!

Charlie I knew you for 18 month while you lived in my house in England whilst narrating Forever Elvis but those 18 months were memories I will never forget your love of the English countryside and narrow boats and of course your love of the Mini car will always be with me thank you for all the great times we had during your time with my family RIP my friend.

I just recently found out Charlie had died in 2006. I am deeply sorry by this. I love watching him and Elvis interact in some of the shows. Where Elvis would playfully kick him and he would playfully him back. In all his shows you can see how much love they had for one another. He was a true friend till the day Elvis died. So very sorry to hear of his passing R.I.P in gods arms.

Hello my old friend, I haven't been here much lately I'm sick myself with heart problems and have been feeling sorry for myself. You told me one time to stop worrying about thing's I can't change and to think about the things in your life that you can. Well I started walking with the wife and kids yesterday, couldn't go very far but it was a start. My heart doctor also told me to get off my duff and start exercising, anything would help...so I have begun the long journey back. I dont think I will ever be able to do me show like I once did but I do sing karaoke in front of folks like I used to and it's fun to watch the power of Elvis take over others that are listening... Love and miss our talks on the phone, well I am going to put on my tennis shoes and go for a walk with the family... Till next time old friend...Wesley
