Charlie Kirk Obituary
Born Charles James Kirk on October 14, 1993, in Arlington Heights, Illinois, he attended Wheeling High School and later studied at Harper College before leaving to pursue activism.
Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA in 2012 at the age of 18, launching the conservative advocacy group as a shoestring campus effort and building it into a well-funded national organization. He later spun it off into affiliated groups, including Turning Point Action and Turning Point Faith.
As Kirk's profile rose, he became a widely known media figure. He hosted "The Charlie Kirk Show" on talk radio, appeared regularly on conservative outlets, and addressed such major political conferences as the 2024 Republican National Convention and the 2022 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). His books include "Campus Battlefield" (2018), "The MAGA Doctrine" (2020), and "Right Wing Revolution" (2024).
A prominent ally of President Donald Trump, Kirk focused on campus activism, youth engagement, and faith-based organizing. He credited early mentorship from the late Bill Montgomery, who helped him launch Turning Point USA.
Kirk married Erika Frantzve in 2021. He is survived by his wife and their two children.

Now I want you to know brethren, continue to rest assured, that the affliction and opposition I faced has only served to advance and give a renewed impetus to spreading our message and the Gospel. My set-back had the opposite effect. Instead of being stopped, my Message has actually prospered. All the prayer warriors here, and others are encouraged to see my resolve to boldly proclaim the Messiah. (Phil 1:12-13)

We were very sad to hear of this tragedy. Charlie was an influential leader, a very gifted and talented young man. As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace and favor of God. (1 Peter 4:11) The gifts he brought to America were rich, diverse, and many. Our entire nation is enriched by the deposit he invested in the Next generation. When I watched Charlie Kirk Memorial Service on tv. I was amazed of how many people pack that arena in Arizona. The Memorial Service was amazing with all the people who were there. The Memorial Service touch my heart in so many ways. I really didn´t know Charlie Kirk. But Charlie had a way of expressing his Faith and relationship with Jesus. The day before he was taken, we got off work and turned on the Will Cain show. On comes Charlie Kirk. Next was Ben Shapiro. My wife had not really known of either, so I told her how these guys are the future of a better world. Young, bright, vibrant and just great inspirations, both of them.

"On eagles´ wings" tells how Israel found freedom - all the way from humble beginnings to being victorious in a land flowing with milk and honey. It was not by fearless fighting and brilliant military maneuvering that they took new ground, and gained the promised land. It was not by their own efforts at all. It was by what God did for them - God carried them "on eagles´ wings."
The eagle is admired for its abilities and exploits. It's the jet plane of the bird family. It soars the highest, goes the fastest, and is superior to all other birds. When King David gave a eulogy of Saul and Jonathan after they passed, likens them to the eagle in a song of lament: "Saul and Jonathan were lovely and pleasant in their lives - they were swifter than eagles." (2 Samuel 1:23) By its natural talent and having great wings, it's able to soar to great heights and perform amazing feats.
Take away: Charlie was a Vessel in the Hands of God.

I have had an epiphany. I have always said I have a relationship with god but after charlie´s horrific death I feel a shift of some kind. Rest in peace thank you for all you did while while you were down here on earth. You made people who didn´t believe believe again. My daughter got to meet you at college. I never did but watching you how inspirational you were and kind made me wanna be a better person for this I thank you . My heart goes out to your wife and children. You were a great human being and will be greatly missed.
