Jean Moore - Melva and I want to express our condolences and heartfelt sympathy to you and your Family on the passing of Charlie. It is such a high honor to have known Charlie and you for the past 16+ years. Charlie embodied everything that is good and decent about our America. He displayed such enthusiasm with his Patriotism and Love of Country. And, your Charlie never met a stranger. And we value and appreciate that attribute of your Charlie. We are so proud to have known Charlie. Sincerely, Lt Col Ken & Melva Kimberly, Covington, LA

To Mrs Jean and the Moore Family. My thoughts and prayers are with you today. Colonel Charlie B. Moore was one of the USAF's best, a leader, a teacher, a motivator, a mentor and most of all a friend to so many cadets who learned valuable skill sets from him and went on to carry out successful AF careers! I was lucky enough to be one of those cadets. Godspeed to you Colonel Moore, you made a difference in our world. Very Respectfully, Barrett

My thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Jean & the family. Colonel Moore will always be remembered with great respect and fondness. So many memories of a great man and not one of them bad. As my instructor for three years, and role model for many more, he left me with many great ideals that I hope to leave to my children. The legacy he leaves behind is one of great integrity and love.

Col Charlie B. Moore -- a true leader, motivator and friend. He was most certainly foundational to my career in the USAF. I had a chance to see him in February 2016 when I briefed a historic flying mission to the Chennault Aviation Museum in Monroe. There, it was an honor to tell nearly 100 citizens gathered that Charlie Moore was the reason I could stand before the crowd and brief. He will be missed. God bless you and your family, sir!

I will miss him dearly. He was a great teacher when I was in AFJROTC first 3 years at West Monroe High School. He was a wonderful man and I will miss seeing him.

Colonel Moore was in charge of the La Tech AFROTC while I was attending La Tech. As a member of the AFROTC sponsored Angel Flight, I had the honor to know and observe Colonel Moore in this job. He was a man of integrity and honor and we all respected him. Good memories. My condolences, Deanna Carter
