As a follow up to what was shared 2 years ago, Charlotte and her husband Bart were like second parents to the "kids" that came in contact with them. She and he made sure the "kids" did the right things and protected us when it appeared someone tried to take advantage of us. We are better people today and more successful because we had additional guidance over and above that of our own parents. She may be gone in body, but never in spirit.

Peter and I were saddened to hear of Charlotte's passing. Thinking of her brought back wonderful memories when teaching at Lenoxdale School. She was a kind and dedicated and compassionate teacher. Most of all she was a great mentor to me in my early teaching career. Condolences to all the family.

Our deepest sympathy to the Pignatelli family on the passing of a very special lady. Charlotte was a very important part of our formative years growing up in Lenox. She was sharp and a delight to talk with and share memories. She will be dearly missed by all.

My family and I have such fond memories of Mrs. Pignatelli. She was such an incredible teacher. I'm sorry I haven't been around over the last 40+years to have gotten to know her as an adult. Glad to have seen she was at the 50th reunion of our class. Those were great pictures! My condolences to your entire family.

Our sympathy at the passing of Mrs. Pignatelli. She was our 2nd grade teacher and principal at the former Lenox Dale School. She was a great teacher who administered discipline when necessary but wasn't afraid to give a kid a hug when it was needed. She always had a smile wherever you met her. A true lady whom everyone gave their upmost respect. She was a pillar of our community and will be missed. She and Bart leave a lasting legacy in a great family. Our prayers for her family.

I have very fond memories of Charlotte as my 2nd grade teacher at Lenoxdale School in 1959. In the years that followed, I would see her and Bart at Loeb's Foodtown while shopping with my mother. Charlotte will be sorrowfully missed. A true example of kindness and gentle spirit. Condolences to the Pignatelli family.
