I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Woodley first as a student in her German classes at CCHS and later, as a friend here in St. Marys. Any time I saw her, she always greeted me with a smile. She was a true lady, and I have many find memories of her in my heart. One of my favorite will always be of the candy cupboard in her classroom! My family and I offer our deepest sympathy to her entire family.

What a wonderful woman she was. She taught us all valuable lessons about life that I never forgot. I thought her often over the years and now and then wrote to her. I received a nice note from her a few years ago, in which she said it was so nice to be remembered as a great influence on so many young lives. I am honored to have known her.

Frau Woodley, when I was in school. In 2000 she became Char Woodley. So grateful to have gotten to know her as an adult, as well as a student. Always gracious and kind. Wonderful memories. Sincere sympathy to the entire family.

I had Frau Woodley in German class , which really helped when I was stationed in Germany. She was a really nice woman and had a great sense of humor.

Frau Woodley was my German Teacher in 10th grade at CCHS; which seems like a billion years ago; yet I still remember her fondly as one of my favorites. My sincere sympathy.

Hearing of Mrs. Woodley's passing made my heart so heavy. She was a lovely lady and an excellent teacher. I will always remember her fondly. And for the rest of my life (as has always been the case), I will never see a Toblerone or a chocolate orange without thinking of her with a smile.
