He was greatly admired by many fellow colleagues and all those who knew him. This young man was such an inspiration to us in Houston. I watched him on the news and no doubt he was favorite. I called him to help dress several young men at my school. He stepped up and followed through. He wanted no recognition for his efforts. I will forever be grateful for our season. Rest in Heaven, Chauncy !!

Loved watching a professional young brother on the news that looked liked me. I really enjoyed when he would talk about the Houston Texans football team, because I could tell that segment genuinely made me happy. Last but not least I always recognized how well groomed he was and made me better by paying more attention to myself. I´m sorry to hear about his passing. Peace & Blessings to his family.

The news deeply saddens us. We had the privilege of interviewing Chauncy, and he was consistently kind and gracious whenever we saw each other at events in Houston. One of our great memories is providing media coverage for the "Chauncy Glover Project" Black Tie Gala in 2019. We extend our condolences to the Glover family and everyone who knew and cherished him as a son, brother, colleague, and loved one. Rest in peace, Chauncy.

Living in Houston, I loved watching Chauncy. His smile was electrifying. He gave the young men a reason to strive to be better. I watched High Speed Chases in Cali and was shocked to hear his voice. Thank you Chauncy for being the great mentor you were. Rest easy.

I watched Chauncy on channel 9 news Los Angeles and I miss him so much.his smile was countageous I would catch myself smiling when he spoke as if he was speaking to me . i didnt realize who he really was untill i read all the wonderful deeds he did while he was alive.i dont know what happened ,but you my brother rest in peace and my condolences to the family

When Chauncy arrived, his demeanor was always professional and genuine. When he left for California, there was a noticeable difference. Looking at your photo I am still in disbelief. I called you my TV husband. So poised and professional, I recall the first time I saw you on ABC13, I said "Oh my who is that" so handsome. I watched you whenever I had an opportunity. When I saw the story of your death, initially I thought it was a hoax, then upon learning of its truth my heart literally felt like it broke in half. He did two lifetimes in his short lifetime. He accomplished a lot and has helped and will help a lot of people,forever. Mr. Chauncey Glover, will be missed by all the Fans and followers he has in Houston Texas. The mild yet soft spoken voice 1st time he aired on Channel 13 I was walking pass the television when he started speaking I backed up, to see who the person is, he was a breath of fresh air.

My first memories of Chauncey Glover goes way back when he was a child
My son Heath Norwood and Chauncey played football together. He was so dedicated to his mother all his life and went through a lot to give her the perfect birthday party. When I turned on the news and read the "Breaking News Update" run across the screen...jaw dropping, utter dismay. I am still in denial. Chauncey was a light to the Ch13 ABC Evening News. I loved to watch him, because he was so poised and respectable. Any mother and father would be proud to call him `son´, as I sure his parents are. My heart pours out to the Glover family and the community as Chauncey was so loved. Whatever happened, I pray he was at peace.

He was a beacon of light even in the midst of delivering a tragic story. I missed watching him on ABC13 when he left Houston, but he was the center of conversations around our dinner table at times when we would reminisce about missing him on the news. Prayers go out to his family and loved ones as he is now with our Lord and Savior.
