My Deepest and Sincerest Sympathies to The Johnston Family.

John, You and I spoke briefly last week. Do know that I will forever miss Cherise, My "Backdoor" line sister from Norfolk State University. I have nothing but wonderful thoughts of her. She was indeed a blessed person and I am blessed just having known her.

May the Spirit of the Lord comfort you and your family during this time.

John,

I am so sorry for your loss. We have never met, but the way Cherise talked about you, and your Mom when we worked together at Quest, I feel as if I had known you and your Mom. Cherise was a very caring, artistic, intelligent and loving person. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

John,

I am very sorry for the tragic loss of Cherise and your Mother. I can’t imagine what you are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I met Cherise in middle school after the merger. It wasn’t long after we met that Cherise, Marsha, Carla and I became inseparable. We were quite the foursome back in the 80’s. Although we all went our separate ways to college, we kept in contact through the years. Her friendship was a very important part of my life. Cherise was a very caring, artistic, intelligent, funny and loyal friend and she will be deeply missed.

John, as I’m sure you know, Cherise was extremely proud to call you her brother. She looked up to you immensely.

To John & Family,

I am very sorry for your loss. Cherise was a great person and very spiritual. I graduated high school with her and we exchanged e-mails from time to time. She was a very genuine and kind person. Cherise's life was a tribute to your mother. I only knew John a little, but Cherise and John seemed to be a good representation of the upbringing from their mother. May you find comfort in knowing that Cherise is in a better place and that she is shining her light down on you. I'm very upset by what happened to her and your mother. They will be missed. My prayers are with you and your family. May Cherise and your mother rest in peace. They had a greater calling and the Lord needed them more than we did here on Earth. God bless you all.
