Ann and I go all the back to elementary school. She has always been fun and funny and had a delightful gift of gab. Only recently we rode together to our high school reunion and chattered and chattered about our friendship and histories. Some people will always be dear to your heart and Ann was that to me. Love you Ann, from Vikki

To the family of our Ann . . . it was so nice having met the family at Ann's open-house memorial in her warm and welcoming home today. As I mentioned, I've known Ann since grammar school, and not until I helped Gwen with the obituary did I ever know that Ann's first name was Cheryl! Gwen and I had a pretty good laugh over that one for sure. I could always count on Ann's phone calls just about every Tuesday for years and years; we caught up on all the latest with our families, movies we liked and those that Ann didn't like, and she was always interested in how I was getting along, especially after the loss of my dear and loving pets. She even checked the L.A. Dodgers schedules before she called so she would know if I would be in a good or bad mood, and she never called me during a game. Besides being one of the most intelligent people I know, she was beautiful, funny, talented, and such a loyal, dear, and true blue friend. She is truly missed, but will never be forgotten as we continue to celebrate her October birthdays as we have done for decades. Sending much love, Carolyn (Schroeder) Weyant/Torrance, CA.
