This is one of my favorite pictures. It was takin at the end of a warm summer night of running around and hanging outside with our cousins. I think we were about 12 years old and without a care in the world. Such happy memories. Cheri, Nancy and I were VERY close while growing up, more like sisters instead of cousins. Iam sure gonna miss Cheri, she was a beautiful girl inside and out.

Cheryl was a valued teacher and it was a pleasure working with her at Lincoln MS. Much love to Nancy and the family during this time.

I was so lucky to work in her classroom. It was only 2 years but she was one of the most kind people I've ever met. Her sweetness and her genuine care for everyone was something that we were all so lucky to experience.
He devotion and love for her students was humbling. One of the most incredible things I learned about her was her generosity. The first month we worked together was October, the students were carving pumpkins she had brought from up north. She made sure she had enough for the kids, me, and Ms. Kim.
She was able to make our classroom a family. I will never forget her. I will strive to be like her: generous, kind, always thinking of others, and very funny.

She was my son Xzavaier teacher and she sure made each of those kids feel special. Especially xzavaier who will miss her terribly. We are so sorry about the loss of a wonderful teacher who had so much love for her "kids" she always made my son feel loved everyday. Thank you Ms. Arnold for all you did for us. We will miss you FOREVER!!

I remember meeting Cheri for the first time when I was watching Johnny and Annelise, she called me Apee right away and I don't let most people call me that but I liked her right away so it was okay. She always had a smile on her face and she had a great sense of humor. She was always good to my daughter Jaime, she was kind, funny, smart, and laughed a lot. I will miss seeing her at the Linn get together's, and I send my sympathy to Perry and Grandma June and Roy. We love you Linn and Peterson Family and have you in our prayers.

I am so fortunate to have had her as my mentor, colleague, and friend. She took me under her wing and provided love and support when I was losing my mind with the teacher struggle. She loved all her students like her own children. She always went the extra mile for them and cared about everyone so much. Oh did she and technology have a love/hate relationship, but she is such a smart cookie and really mastered her craft!! She was taken way too soon. I am going to miss her so much.

I love you so much! I am blessed To have had you as such a huge part of my life. Your memories remind me to find the positives in situations because tomorrow Is a new day, fly a kite on a windy day, soak up the sun any chance I can, drink a beer when I need a break, dont forget to look at the trees when Im walking because I might find a blackberry, enjoy the simple things like ice skating on a pond, digging in the sand to find an acorn or shell, swing high on the swings, always bring an umbrella to the beach, swim as much I can, always feed the birds and most importantly tell the people around you they are beautiful and I love them. Cheri, you impacted our lives in many ways that I dont have the words to express. Thank you for being a wonderful grandmother to my children and accepting all of us without judgement. Thank you for always being available for my Dad and my family. We are deeply saddened losing you but your memories are worth every tear we cry. I look forward to all of our tears turning into smiles and stories of joy to Live out your memory. We miss you dearly

How lucky are we all to have had someone so beautiful in our lives, it makes saying "Farewell for now" so hard.
We will hold you dear in our hears until we meet again. ✝

Deeply Saddened but So honored to have been a part of her dash!
The Dash Poem (By Linda Ellis)
I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on the tombstone
From the beginning...to the end
He noted that first came the date of birth
And spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years
For that dash represents all the time
That they spent alive on earth.
And now only those who loved them
Know what that little line is worth
For it matters not, how much we own,
The cars...the house...the cash.
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.
So, think about this long and hard.
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
That can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough
To consider what's true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.
And be less quick to anger
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we've never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect
And more often wear a smile,
Remembering this special dash
Might only last a little while
So, when your eulogy is being read
With your life's actions to rehash...
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent YOUR dash?
