I will always remember Cheryl for always having such a sweet smile on her face and being such a kind soul and “letting me” win in our lunchtime games of uno at uthsc. She was strong, selfless and funny. I will never forget her and miss her always.

Simply devastated to know the truly sweetest person I've known is gone. I'm so sorry for us all to have lost this bright light from our lives. I pray for her loved ones, her family, friends, pets as we are all hurting. Please give us all the strength we need to face her absence from this life until we are reunited.

Cheryl was a wonderful person to work with and pushed onward. It was a blessing to know such a strong and kind person who made our Wednesday meetings a treat. My deepest condolences to her family and close friends. She will forever be in our memories.

I worked with Cheryl but also had the pleasure of a car ride one day with her. We talked about past jobs, travel and hobbies. She had some very amusing stories. She gave me the idea of looking for an arborist to address one of my lawn issues, something I would have never thought of myself. At work she was always so responsive and helpful, even during more challenging times. The strength and perseverance she showed were inspiring. My deepest condolences for your loss. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

My sincere condolences to the Blalock family. Cheryl was an absolute joy to be around and it was my pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with her for many years. She will be greatly missed.
