Dear Tom and Family-I was so saddened and shocked to learn of Cheryl's passing from a friend last night. I am so sorry I did not get to say goodbye. You may remember that I was Cheryl's preceptor when she was a new grad at NEMC. We shared many laughs over over the years. She was an expert nurse, manager and had one of sharpest wits of anyone I have ever known. Last I heard from her I know she was loving her role as a grandmother. Please know both Bob and I send our prayers and sympathies and Tom would love to see you sometime on the Cape. Fondly Jackie and Bob Somerville

Dear
Mr Blaney and family,
This is Rob Marrocco. I'm really sorry for your loss. Mrs. Blaney was
one of the kindest people ever. She always was smiling when I saw her. Mr. Blaney, I remember all the fun ski trips... you too Heather,
especially that one with Lindsay and Shawn C... Mr. Blaney, you'd be
proud of my typing skills these days too! asdf, jkl; ok, you got me, I
still type with one finger for the most part, but I'm very fast and
efficient. Anyways, I talked with my family and they told me of the
news and I just wanted to leave you a little note to let you know that
I am thinking of you and that Cheryl and family will be in my prayers.
You are a great, strong family, and I know that things will get better.
Love Rob

Dear Tom and family:
Words just cannot express how very sorry I am for your loss. Cheryl was a beautiful person -- inside and out -- and I will always treasure the memories of our friendship during our teen years in Stoneham and again when we reconnected in Reading. May God bless you and your family, and may time ease your sorrow and leave you with beautiful memories.

Tom,
Our deepest sympathy, Cheryl was just a super “lady”. I emphasize the word lady. She fought her illness with such dignity and grace. Phil and I will always treasure the memories. The great Friday night dinners, football parties, boycotting restaurants just a lot of fun stuff. We’ll miss her gorgeous smile and incredible laugh. She lived life to its fullest. Cheryl was an attentive listener and always offered such helpful advice. She was a super storyteller of the wonderful adventures the both of you shared. We’ll miss her genuine enthusiasm for life. The picture you just had done captured the essence of what Cheryl was all about, loving wife, mother and adoring grandmother. She left with all of us who knew her the importance of not sweating the small stuff and enjoying the moment. We thank her for that. Our prayers are with you and your family during this most difficult time.
