Dear Yem and Family,

I am so sorry. Your caring and loving parenting was obvious as we talked at our high school reunion lunch. May your memories of your beautiful daughter provide some solace in this time of sorrow.

Cheryl was kind, selfless and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She had many of the traits of our Nana. Our family will miss her smile, her kindness and joy. Mike, you have been an outstanding husband during this time and I know the love that you shared with Cheryl will support and guide you through the rest of your days. We love you both then, now and always. Cheryl, I know you are with loved ones who have gone before and are watching over us. We love you and will take care of Mike.

In life you meet so many people, whether just for a brief moment or a lifetime. But only a few have the power to leave a mark on you that changes your life forever. Cheryl was absolutely a shining star and it saddens me that God decided he no longer wanted to share her with us. I don't know where her next path will lead too but I do hope one day I can feel the warmth of her light again. She will always be in my heart and the Dooley and Chin Families, you all will always be in my prayers. I am so deeply sorry for this tragic loss.

Dear Mike, Yem, Pat, Jimmy, Kelsey and Families,

We are heart broken to hear about the passing of Cheryl. She was one who never brought attention to herself but her bright smile made her presence known in any room. Cheryl was a loving, caring and thoughtful young woman. She always jumped in to lend a hand with anything that was needed. Whether it be bridal showers, baby showers, surprise birthday celebrations or the Chins' Christmas gatherings. When Melissa attended UMass Amherst, Cheryl shared with us all the great restaurants and places to go in the Amherst area. What we remember most are the discussions we would have while having dessert at the Chins' Christmas gatherings. Topics ranged from life experiences, events, movies, concerts and anything else you can imagine. Her input would always make everyone smile, laugh and shake our heads usually in agreement and she would giggle to our reactions.

We are going to miss her dearly and she will always be remembered in our hearts. May the memories of her help comfort you and bring peace in the days ahead.

Our Deepest Sympathies,
Fung, Anne, Melissa and Vanessa

Cheryl, you suffered so much in this life. It is heart breaking what you had to go through, but there were happy times in your life as well, like sharing your life with Mike. Mike is truly dedicated to you and suffered along with you and shared good times as well.

Pat & Yem & family, I cant express how sorry I am and the sadness that you must feel. Just know that Cheryl's life spoke glowing volumes of the job you guys did in raising her to be such an outstanding person.

MIKe, Pat & Yem, you are always in our hearts and prayers.

Cheryl was a new born when I first met her. My mother was so happy to see a baby girl. She had always wanted a baby girl herself, but holding Cheryl had to do.
My fondest memory of her was when I was in her grandmother's house for a wedding (she must have been a preschooler) and she had put on lipstick and was hoping that someone would notice- specifically, her grandfather. After a few seconds, I had to say that Cheryl, you look so beautiful! Finally, that caught her grandfather's eye and she pranced along so happily to other parts of the house to get noticed.
I remember how beautiful she looked at her wedding. Although, we had few interactions over the years, I can tell from Cheryl's relationship with Mike and her family of what a loved and respected person Cheryl is.
I will miss your smile, your upbeat personality and just plain joy to be around. Last visited you two years ago with Mike and family and I will cherish that time that we all spent together. Rest in peace with Jesus and you are forever in our hearts.

I worked with Cheryl at Circles for a few years. She was excellent company and fun to be around. She was both funny and kind, and she had a great sense of humor about the ridiculousness of our clients. I'm grateful I got to spend time with her for a few years. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be missed.
