We had the pleasure of knowing Cheryl and being her backyard neighbors for seven seasons while we were rangers at Jamaica State Park. Cheryl always thanked me for giving her a hug at church. Always a genuine and heartfelt "Thank you" - which made me feel appreciated and valued - and stirred me to hug her even more genuinely next time. She quietly nurtured a loving friendship between us that I am so grateful for. The last thing I remember saying to her when I hugged her that last time in the hospital was that it would not be our last hug - And it won't be. My prayers are with all of you - my heart full...

So sorry for the loss of your loving Mother & Grandmother. She lived a wonderful life with a loving family. May she rest in the arms of Angel's as she helped so many herself.
