Chad, Trevor, and Chloe, we just heard about your loss and we are heartbroken for you! Cheryl was such a beautiful and classy lady and one could sense her sweet spirit as soon as she spoke. We always enjoyed talking with her when Chloe played golf with Katrina. We will pray for God's comfort in your lives as only He can give. Life here is fleeting but hold onto the hope of a sweet reunion with your precious wife and mother where there will be no more pain and no more heartache. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) Please let us know if there is ever anything we can do for you. We will pray for you daily. Love, Joe, Quentina and Katrina Mendez

Dear Chad, Chloe, and Trevor,
You have no idea who I am but I had the good fortune of meeting Cheryl when we did our Yoga Teacher Training together. I am shocked and devastated that the world has lost such a special soul. I was immediately struck by Cheryl's warmth, kindness, beauty, and intelligence. The way she spoke of you three was filled with love, respect, and gratitude and it was obvious that you were all very close. We ran into each other at Trader Joe's shortly after you moved to PB. She had a huge smile on her face as she talked about living so close to the ocean. Your beautiful wife and mother has touched so many people by the way she lived her life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

January 26, 2013

January 24, 2013

Dear Chad, Trevor, Chloe, Arlene, Lisa, Kurt & the Johnson Family,
We are all so deeply saddened by theb loss of Cheryl. Please know that we hurt not only for you, but with you. Cheryl was an amazing soul. You will see this, and remember it, everytime you look into the eyes of Trevor and Chloe. She will always be remembered as a kind, beautiful, funny girl, with dimples that you could hide a quarter in. Friday will be a celebration of her life and legacy. I am sorry I cannot be there for it, but I will be there in spirit. Thinking of you, sending you all love, hugs, prayers and good karma. At my brother Jim's funeral it was said that "time does not heal all wounds, but merely dulls the edges". I found this to be true and I remember it to help me cope. May you all find your laughter again soon, she, of all people, would want that to happen.
RIP, Cheryl. We send our love to you all. Peace at this most difficult time.
Love,
Linda, Dave, Tim and Nicholas
