To the family of Cheryl Eldred,
We would like to offer our condolences to your family and friends at this rough time in your life. Cheryl was once the babysitter that we all called Nana. She was the person entrusted to watch over us everyday until we became old enough to do it ourselves. She was the one that watched us while our parents worked everyday. She treated many scrapes, bruises and runny noses over the years. She was the one who made sure we ate every last bit of our dinner and made sure we got enough fresh air in the summer. She made us use our imaginations to come up with things to do on hot summer days and snowy wintery afternoons. As much as we hated her for making us be outside all the time, we are now old enough to realize that without the push to be outdoors we may have become indoor dwelling couch potatoes with no imaginations. Looking back on the past we often think about the days of make believe when life was simple and realize that if we don’t do it as children we may never get the chance to do it as adults. Cheryl was a large part of our lives as we were kids and it is rough to see her go, even though it has been many years since we have last seen her. We can only hope that she will go on to watch over us all from heaven and that she will remain in the hearts of all those that she has touched over the years. Cheryl was a women true to her word and always willing to give a little bit of herself to everyone she encountered. We can all remember times in our lives when we’ve looked at her as another one of the family and slowly over the years we have drifted apart as we have grown. We can only offer our deepest sympathies to your family at this time. We can not even begin to imagine the heartache that you all must be feeling at this time. We can only say that she will not be forgotten in the lessons that she has taught us all.
Sincerely,
Diane Tanner-Cochran

Dear Kermit,Beverly Eldred,Beverly Brown,Valerie and all the rest of the family. I want to send you my sincere condolances in your loss of Cheryl, I have only met her a couple times when I was out at Bev's in Colchester. I especially want to send even more condolances to Kermit on the loss of your wife. I know what it is like to lose a family member and one who you love very much. I pray that you all will lean on the arms of Jesus and depend on Him for your strength. May He grant you the peace that only He can grant to you during this time of greiving. I hope you will always look upon the good times that you had with Cheryl and know that she is in a better place, safe in the arms of Jesus, completly healed and whole and probably catching up with friends. No more suffering for her. I am sorry I can't make it for the funeral but please know that Keith's and my prayers are with you Kermit and your whole family. Be Blessed. Much Love, Jane and Keith Weiss
