We were so saddened to hear of Cheryl's passing. She was an incredibly strong Christian woman and did not let her physical limitations hold her back. She can now walk step by step down those golden streets in heaven and meet up with our other family members who have gone before her. Our deepest sympathy to the Luttrell and Perkins families. We are sorry we will not be able to be with you all today but we are holding you all up in our prayers.

My first memory of Cheryl is 1969 Freshman Week at ECSC in Ada. We became close friends through our college years and she visited my family with me many times on the weekends. She was a strong Christian lady, although her body had its limitations. I am saddened that we will no longer have her here, yet joyful that she doesn't have to deal with those limitations any more. I look forward to seeing her again some day. I will not be able to attend her service, but please know that my husband & I will be praying for the family.

Cousin Cheryl had a tough life from the beginning, but her faith got her through it all. A dedicated educator for over forty years and life long Christian who witnessed daily somewhere to someone though living her life as all should. I'll miss our teacher stories we used to share when we would get together.
