Cherie was such a smart, talented, and kind woman. She left an amazing legacy behind in her children and grandchildren. Prayers for strength and comfort to all of her loved ones.

My deepest sympathies to Cherie's family. I met Cherie through KPL Bookclub. While we were a generation apart we were kindred spirits. When she moved into 1030 N. Harrison we found we had more in common: puzzles, teaching kids to read, favorite children's authors, and gardening. A treasured memory is eating Village B burgers, socially distant, on the patio during last fall. Cherie was a gift to many at 1030 N Harrison and will be deeply my missed.

Deepest sympathies to Cherie's family. Cherie and I met at 1030 N Harrison Ave and shared a lot in common: children, grandchildren, following our husbands here from the east coast. We shared yoga classes at the Y,
lunches with Pat and Vic, phone calls, texts and even the same doctors. Cherie, I will miss talking and texting you.

I met Cherie through a KPL book club. While we were generations apart she was a kindred spirit. Later, when she moved into 1030 we discovered we shared more than book club in common, puzzles, teaching kids to read, favorite children's books, and gardening. A treasured memory will be Village Bar cheeseburgers on the patio at 1030 during Covid. Cherie was a gift to 1030 she will missed.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Cherie´s family and extended family. She was a woman to be admired. She trained me at Parc Provence, where we worked together for many years. I appreciated her wit, wisdom, intelligence, and patience. My memories of her will be among my great treasures. May your memories comfort you.

I will remember Cherie for who she was: a beautiful kind soul. My memories of the McKees are life long and precious. My friendship with Doug evolved into a family friendship that endured with Linda and Cherie's friendship. I rarely remember Cherie without a smile that reflected her deep warmth and kindness.
I offer my deepest condolences to her children. Your mom was a special woman, and I will always remember her as such.
Love to you all,
Norm Berkowitz

Our deepest sympathies go out to the entire family. Liz and Katie, your mom was blessed to have such wonderful and devoted daughters. She was talented in so many things but her love of reading extended to our family. She taught Charlie to read at a young age when it was a struggle for him. He became an outstanding reader and still loves it today. She had wonderful stories and was a blessing to those she met. Luckily we were able to experience her awesomeness. We will never look at purple the same way.
May you find comfort in her peace. All our love to the family.
