Cheryl PERKINS Obituary
After a courageous battle with cancer, Cheryl passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday August 11th, 2012; at the age of 53. Beloved daughter of Monica Yvonne and the late Frank Perkins. Dear sister of Frank Jr., Leo, Patricia, Grace and Dorthia. Dear niece of Hazel; she will be missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects at Capital Memorial Chapel (3700 Prince of Wales Dr. 613-692-1211) on Thursday August 23rd, from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at Parkdale United Church (429 Parkdale Ave) on Friday August 24th at 11 am. In memoriam, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation are appreciated. Cheryl was my neighbour in Worthing View Christ Church Barbados. We were very close friends, both attending Secondary school. I thought of her today. May she continue to rest in peace.

Cheryl was a very very dear friend ... I am indeed shocked and saddened by her passing. since she moved from Amity Lodge Rendezvous to Canada we lost touch but I have always remembered her kindness and compassion and easy laughter...and sitting in your porch after school. Sincere condolences to Frank, Pat and the entire family. May you find comfort in God's loving arms.
