Cheryl Seymour Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 30, 2025.
Cheryl Ann Seymour (née Robinson), age 64, passed away on April 26, 2025, in Middletown, Connecticut. Born on February 21, 1961, in Hartford, Connecticut, Cheryl brought light and laughter into the lives of those around her with her warm personality and vibrant smile.

Cheryl grew up in Connecticut and attended Berlin schools. Her love for learning led her to Eastern Connecticut State University, where she pursued studies in both Computer Science and English Literature-an academic path that reflected her analytical mind and deep appreciation for storytelling.

Throughout their life, Cheryl faced numerous medical challenges with unwavering strength and courage. Despite these hardships, she maintained an optimistic outlook and a joyful spirit that inspired everyone who knew her. Her resilience was matched only by their sense of humor and ability to find brightness even in difficult times.

Cheryl had a wide range of passions that brought joy to her daily life. She was an avid reader of fiction novels, often immersing herself in stories that sparked imagination and reflection. A talented cook and baker, Cheryl found comfort and creativity in the kitchen, sharing delicious meals with loved ones. She also enjoyed the thrill of thrift shopping-always on the lookout for hidden treasures-and held a deep love for animals of all kinds.

Cheryl's legacy lives on through her family: Michael Robinson, her son; Leah Golas, her daughter; Julie Dodd, her granddaughter; Will Robinson and James Neiburg, her brothers; Donna Robinson, her sister; Joey Robinson, her nephew; Elizabeth Robinson, her niece; Thomas Nowak, her significant other; as well as several beloved cousins who shared many cherished memories with her.

She now joins those who passed before her: Thelma Robinson and Bill Robinson, her parents; and David Neiburg, her brother.

Arrangements will be made for a private family gathering to honor Cheryl's life.

May Cheryl's memory bring comfort to those who knew her and continue to shine brightly in the hearts she touched.
