Cheryl Smith

I just realized you have passed which saddens me. I saw the street sign with Cheryl Smith Way on it. I knew you from Devonaire elementary school. You were such a sweet person. Rest in peace. And say Hi to Leeann for me.

I am so saddened to hear about Mrs. Cheryl's passing. I am currently a senior in high school and I remember the very day I walked into the Devon Aire (Elementary, now K8) office for kindergarten and saw the lovely ladies sitting at the front. During my years there, I developed a relationship with all of them. I recently learned about Cheryl's passing when Dr. Larry Feldman, DAK8s principal when I attended, posted on his social media about the street in front of DAK8 to be named "Cheryl Smith Way". I couldn't think of a more appropriate way of honoring her and to remember the legacy she is leaving at DAK8.

Miss Cheryl, I am very sorry I did not get to say goodbye.. Thank you for all you gave to our children at Devon Aire.
You are missed dearly. You are an angel.

I am so saddened to hear of Sheri's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Gary, Jennifer and her entire family. Even though after many years as friends in high school and after we lost touch. She never left my thoughts and was always in my heart. She had such a kind soul and I will truly miss her. Mrs.Smith's kind and gentle nature was so comforting. She always had a warm and welcoming smile to brighten someone's day. I will miss her tremendously. My prayers are with her family at this difficult moment.
