We were so sorry to hear about your loss. Chet was a friend from the 1st grade at Nettleton until we graduated in 63. He played football, basketball and baseball with Dan. He was a wonderful guy,great friend and will be very missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

My heart goes out to you as you deal with the loss of Chet. He made our neighborhood proud with all that he accomplished and some of my best childhood memories happened with him as a friend and teammate and with all of you as a family.

This message comes from a former 4th Avenue East family friend. I hope you remember me. My brother Denis told me of Chet's death and I am moved to express my sympathy. Of my brother's friends, Chet was a favorite of mine because he was always "nice" to me. He was always welcome at our house. I am the same age as Mel and spent lots of time playing with "Janny" in the neighborhood.
Mrs Anderson, I am especially sad for you. Losing a child at any age is a deep hurt. I have two sons, ages 32 and 26. I hope you are comforted by your many warm memories of your son.

Chet was a classmate of mine & well known for his sports in high school. I will never forget watching the State Championship Game that we won. Best Wishes to your family in the future.

With great sadness I learned of Chet's death. As a DCHS cheerleader in 1961, I shall always remember him rock solid under the basket either waiting for the feed or just moving people out of his way. My sympathy is extended to the entire family.

I was so sorry to hear about the death of Chet. During my era as Athletic Director at Central High School, Chet was a great all around athlete who was outstanding in our 1961 State Basketball Championship. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the funeral.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Your dad was great with helping out all of us boys growing up in south Minneapolis with Baseball, Basketball, etc. - whatever we needed. His dedication and support will never be forgotten. Our deepest sympathies go out to you and your family.

it was with great sadness I learned of the passing of my high school and college friend and high school team mate.We lived in different parts of the countyr, but I never forgot our times together in Duluth. To his family my thoughts and prayers are with you. a special thought to his brother Mel.

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your Dad. Chet was a fixture in our lives for those of us who were friends with you at Washburn High School in the early 90’s. I have many fond memories of him; ranging from him coaching our ninth grade football team to the spaghetti dinners he would whip up for us. He will be missed.

We always help him when we could by taking him to the store when he asked especially in the winter. He was always cheerful and friendly. We live in the same complex. We will miss him and his always smiling face!
