Anna, our thoughts go out to you at this time of such great loss. May our heavenly Father surround you with His love, strengthen you and give you guidance and peace. We will keep you in our prayers.
Chester, what a blessing you were to our lives. I've never known anyone who lived their faith as you did. Always and cheerfully, willing to lend a hand or give a word of encouragement to anyone in need. You're an inspiration to us all. We will miss you and look forward to our reunion in heaven.

Chet was one of the good guys in this world. "Uncle Chet" as we all called him was a good employee and even better friend; he loved working on wind turbines all over the US and was like family to all of the KEMCO crew.
You will be missed Chester and I hope you are enjoying a nice round of golf in heaven right now.
Rest in peace my friend

Chet was a bright light that shone in Goldendale. He came to our town and in a short time touched many lives. Always ready to give a helping hand and a smile. He became part of our church family and loved was greatly. Even though he is not with us we can know without a doubt he is home with his savior.

Anna, Phil, Amelia, and family. Though we did not know Chet, Phil and Amelia were our neighbors in Texas for many years. They were great friends and they were so proud of their family. To lose a son is heartbreaking!! We send all the family our Sincere Sympathy, and may God give you all His Peace.

Beloved friend we are heart sick to hear of your death. You were a bright spot in the lives of all you touched. Anna we cannot imagine the grief you must be going through; to have lost a husband and a child is almost too much to bear. May God keep you in His care. We will remember you in our prayers as you raise your two grandsons. God Bless my friend.

Anna,
I was stunned to hear about your loss. I also know your step-daughter, Amy from that works at Timely Mission. I cannot imagine the grief you are going through with the loss of Chet and Ashley. My deepest sympathies to all of you. May the wonderful memories that you have sustain you in the months ahead. The grandchildren are so very fortunate to have you to guide them not only now but in the future. Tjode Mickelson

Chet was a near and dear friend of ours. We always loved having him over nearly every night for coffee and snacks. He was such a light in such a dark time in the world. No matter how hectic things got in our lives, he was always there with kind words and a loving hug. Our children looked up to him as a grandfather and they are already missing him. Our youngest son talks of how Chet was a "know it all" and that it was the way "grandpa types" are supposed to be. We personally find it hard to not be angry about the loss of our friend, but we know that Chet is up in heaven fishing with the Lord. Chet, We will miss you forever our friend.

We enjoyed knowing Chet. He was a joy to those whose lives he touched. Chet loved his Saviour and was a daily witness to those around him without even saying a word. Anne, you and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry to hear of Chet's passing. It has been a long time since I've seen him, probably not since the Halvorson reunions that were held at the Hanska park, as I move away from Minnesota when I went to college in the 60s. I'm one of his second cousins.

I served with Chet on the Base Honor Guard. He was such a pleasure to be around and I enjoyed every detail I did with him. Thinking of those times brings a smile to my face. What a great person!
