Chester Thomas Obituary
A long-time and proud Hudson resident, Chet was a founding member and past president of the Country Club of Hudson. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran, a devoted gardener and avid golfer.
Chet's strong work ethic led to a long and distinguished career in electronic component sales, where he worked at R.G. Sidnell & Co, Pioneer Standard, and Packard Electronics.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of more than 60 years, Philomena Monda Thomas; his parents, Ellis and Ocie (Chambers) Thomas; and siblings: Ruby Thomas Walker (Earl), Ethel Thomas Carr (Harry), Lula Thomas Schneiderman (Louis), Erma Thomas Marshall (Ira), Paul Thomas, Wesley Thomas (Georgina), William Thomas, Ellis Thomas, and Robert Thomas.
He is survived by his children: Chester A. Thomas Jr. (Karen), David Thomas, Amy Thomas Granelli (Richard), Michael Thomas, and Elizabeth Thomas Martin (Neal); his sister, Betty Thomas Jones; and his grandchildren: Shannon Thomas McGowan (Ryan), Courtney Thomas Videtich (Brian), Tori Granelli Satrio (Austin), Samuel Granelli, Cara Granelli, and Mia Granelli and 3 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held over the summer.

Dear Thomas Family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Chet´s passing. He was a mentor to me at Pioneer-Packard back in the 1990's and I am grateful for everything he taught me. I will always remember his competitive spirit, whether competing for business, playing golf, or playing Euchre at lunch. Please accept my condolences.
