Mr D. Ashover
Chesterfield Mr Derick Arthur Ashover, of Springbank care home, Ashgate Road, Chesterfield, has died at home, aged 78.
He was a resident of the area all his life. He was a salesman for Mothers Pride until retiring in the late 1960s due to ill health.
His pastimes included watching
documentaries, nature programmes, Jackie Chan films and spaghetti westerns and he loved quizzes and sodoku.
The widower of Iris, he leaves daughter Tracy, four grandchildren, two step-
grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service is due to take place at
St John's Church, Newbold, on Friday, November 25, at 1pm.
Funeral directors: Midlands Co-operative Funeral Services, 55 West Bars, Chesterfield (tel: 01246 220201).
