Chip:
We are surely missing you. You brought so much happiness and joy into our lives. You were one heck of a son and brother, husband and above all the finest father I have ever known. I always envied how great a father you were.
We must move on but we will never forget you and remember the fantastic memories you have left for us to enjoy.
You always said all you wanted to do was, "make a difference!" You surely did and you have no idea how much. So many people have come forth and told us what a wonderful person you were and how you so reached out to them in whatever time of need.
You have left a living legacy we all admire and so appreciate. Thank you.
Not good-bye because we will never forget but our everlasting love, Pop

Kyra,
It has been a while since we have been in touch, and it seems so sad to have it happen now. Time and life can separate and add distance but I want you to know how much you and the kids have been on my mind. Jessica truly had a hard time with the news and her heart went out and "up" immediately in prayer.
We knelt and prayer together for peace to flow over you all that very moment and in the days to come. We certainly have shared some fun memories, backyard parties, pool time, and Halloweens in particular with the neighborhood runs. My prayer is for you and your sweet family to bring those type of thoughts forward and that they will comfort you. We will most certainly keep you in our thoughts and pray for the healing of your hearts with God's love.
In His Love,
Trish Richert and Jessica Richert

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Kyra and Dillan, Emma and I just found out about Chip's passing. We are so sad! Chip was such a good dad and we were always impressed with his great skating at Jefferson's skate nights. I'm not sure who had more fun Dillan or his dad :) We are thinking about all of you and want you to know that it was a pleasure to know a dad who loved his wife and kids so dearly, it was obvious in his conversations and actions. We are all better people for knowing him! In prayer for you all!
