This came as a shock to me..its sucks I didn't find out until now. I so would have loved to say goodbye.Chris thank you for being you. I definitely appreciate our talks throughout the year. You have help me in many, many ways personally and professionally. I was glad I had the honor to have know you. I loved the passion you had for JUSTICE! There will NEVER be anyone like you. We will miss you, and now its time for you to rest. We will keep on keeping on. The work you did in the community will ALWAYS LIVE ON! Thank you Brother! Until later :) Ride that big hog on the highway in heaven vroom, vroom! My thoughts and prayers with the Dahl family.

To the Family of Chris..I got to know Chris via FB, as a fellow "family" member of POMC..I will miss his postings of encouragement, faith and caring. He was a wonderful person and I know you all miss him so much, as do we..He is not forgotten and forever missed...

So sorry to hear of your passing Dear Chris. You will be so very much missed. I loved your whole joyfull attitude to life, the way you cared for other people and for animals. I loved your FB entries, they were always so funny and inspirational.I often reposted them. God is getting someone very special up there in Heaven. Keep all those other Angels laughing, Chris. I haven't seen Chris in a long time. Chris was amazing! Never angry, always filled with unconditional love, compassion and the determination to teach those around him how to obtain a certain peace in life that he had found. I wish I had known then what I know now. He is so blessed! As are all of us who have crossed his path in life. Jesus has always been by his side.
To Phyllis, Kathleen, Chad (Eddie), Charlie, Richie, Sue, Roy, Peggy, Amy, I am so sorry for such an untimely loss in the family. May your hearts heal quickly and be filled with knowledge that Chris is at peace...the kind unknown to any of us still here on earth. My thoughts, prayers and love to you all.

To the family of Chris, I didnt know Chris long, but the short time I did I know him, I found a warm loving soul. He was always willing to help get you through a tough spot with his kind words and knowledge. He was a man every man should inspire to be. I wish more were like him. I really admired the soft spot he had for dogs that needed a home and for his compassion for the wild wolves. I hope that we left behind can follow in his footsteps and stand up for the rights of those who can't in The spirit of Chris. Thank you to his family that shared such a wonderful man with many. Kathleen and family my heart breaks for you. Chris was teaching me a great many things by his example. A gift he gave to me, that will live on through me, is that he taught me how to forgive myself .
Chris actually became the person his dogs thought he was. i can only hope to live as fully, and give as freely as Chris did. Thank you for sharing him with me.

Many days Chris' posts on FB helped me keep despair at the door. He was a beacon to so many. He will be truly missed and forever remembered and cherished. Now he is inspiring our children in Heaven.

Dear family of Chirs Edwin Dahl, Chris was a special person who reached out to many families & friends of murdered loved ones. His compassion in posting to facebook to many survivors was greatly appreciated. He empowered many of us by his kind words & wisdom. I tried looking for him at the National POMC Conference last August. I wanted to meet him however never had the chance to..Chris RIP. Many blessings to his family...God bless...

Chris, I can't express in words what you have ment to me,your my cousin and best friend. you helped me see thru the fog..and to embrace life.. I will miss you greatly.

Dear family and friends of my dear cousin Chris, know that our love, thoughts & prayers are with you during this time of mourning. We too here in Utah are feeling the lose of this wonderful member of our family who's knowledge, heart & soul was tremendously huge & so thankful he shared that with all. I've found a post he wrote on POMC that I want to share a portion of as we all learn to not have Chris physically with us. "it is ok to miss our loved ones; it is okay that we cry. Please remember happy times you shared with your loved ones & share them with others. Chris & I have spoke several times on the phone and privite messages on facebook we shared mesages & songs also. He always lifed me up when I was down. Rest in Peace Chris.

Our Hearts are saddened in loss of my Uncle Chris. May the Lord bring our family comfort and peace in our time of sorrow.

My wife and I met Chrisin 2008 at the POMC group in St. Paul. He was such a great listener and really understood where I was coming from when I lost my 18 year old son. What a great friend and what a wonderful person. He will surely be missed. Thinking of his family at this sad time and to let you know he really touched our hearts.
