I didn´t have the opportunity to know Chris very well however I worked with Lisa and got to witness every day how truly in love she was with her husband. I got to hear stories about what an amazing husband and father he was and I´m truly grateful that him and Lisa found each other because she deserved nothing but the best. Chris, please continue to watch over Lisa and those beautiful children, you are their forever guardian angel now.

What a run! I´ve witnessed you take risks, rise to challenges, and lead with unwavering strength for nearly two decades. Who else but our Chris could embody the compassion to support and guide our grieving families through a previously unimaginable loss? Who else but you, Chris, could pour so much love and dedication into raising two children who are as grounded and strong as both have become? And who else but you could build a relationship with your wife that runs so deep, it will endure a lifetime?
So, here´s to my nephew, Chris Gudino - who shared his success and made us all better than we were. What an extraordinary run! The only human I ever met that made a "cat" do tricks.

A Memory I´d Like to Share

Chris was the kind of person who ALWAYS put family first, and his actions showed how much he cared. While Lisa and I didn´t see each other often as adults living on separate sides of the country, moments like these reminded me of our family's incredible bond and the role Chris played in it.

When our grandfather, Grandpa Bach, was in hospice in 2007, Chris stepped up in a way I´ll always remember. I had never experienced anything like that before-watching someone you love pass away-and there was so much I didn´t understand. Chris used his former EMT experience to help guide us through what was happening, answering questions and explaining things in a way that gave us a sense of what to expect. When Grandpa took his last breaths, we were all standing around him with a hand on his body, and Chris quietly said, "He´s gone." That moment has stayed with me ever since.

Years later, when Grandma Bach passed away unexpectedly, Chris once again showed up. Even though he had very little time off from work, he made the effort to fly to Wisconsin just for the funeral to support Lisa and be with our family. And in typical Chris fashion, he didn´t arrive empty-handed-he brought food to share, it was such a small gesture, but it spoke volumes about who he was-always thoughtful, always putting family first.. I was so touched that he went to such great lengths for Lisa and for all of us. Chris always set the bar high when it came to showing up for family.

That´s what stands out most about Chris. Whether it was for something big or small, he always showed up. He didn´t just talk about being there for family-he lived it.

I´ll never forget those moments or the example he set. Chris will be so deeply missed, but his love and unwavering commitment to our family will ALWAYS be remembered.

So glad we got to see your family this summer. Chris was such an awesome guy - so involved & such a family man. I always remember how great he was taking care of grandpa Bach. He just took control; we were so happy he did. I still have the little rose he gave each of us . He will certainly be missed.

I have more than one favorite memory of Chris. Whenever Chris hosted parties at his house he was always host with the most. He made sure everyone had enough to eat, drink and was having fun. Cheers to the fun times Chris! Thank you for having such a huge heart! We love you and miss you so much! ~Amy Guins

Chris and I grew up together. I was and still am a HUGE wrestling fan and when I was little, our aunt Maria took me to my very first live wrestling event. This was a great moment in my young life and there to share it with me was Chris and his brother Tony. Chris and I spent the event screaming our heads off as guys like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Ultimate Warrior battled in the ring. We even ducked and hid when a wrestler by the name of Papa Shango looked like he was putting a hex on the live crowd. I have many wonderful memories of my cousin. But this one will always be one of my favorites.

I never met Chris. He was my son´s boss at Bidadoo. My son spoke so highly of him at all times. He felt Chris gave him a chance to prove his potential. I believe Chris made him a better person. He always wanted to be there for Chris because Chris was always there for him. He´s still in shock and crushed but he said "Mom, I´m going to work even harder because I know Chris is proud of me." As a mother, one could only hope their child is mentored by someone like Chris. I want the Gudino family to know just how much Chris meant to those that worked for him. I´m sorry I was not able to meet him myself to thank him. God Bless,

He was amazing coach. Chris taught my son a lot about discipline & football. I am so honored that he was able to coach my son for the four years he was on the AZ Tide.
