Chris Hall Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 20, 2025.
Chris Hall, 72, passed away on July 28, 2025, in New London, North Carolina. Born on August 13, 1952, in Rochester, New York, Chris lived a life marked by kindness, passion, and deep connections with those around him.

He was the beloved life partner of Kim Geyer Medeiros of North Carolina. Chris was a devoted father to his sons Cooper Hall (Stephanie) and Jesse Hall. He took great pride in his grandchildren Paisley Marie and Christian Hall, all of whom reside in South Carolina.

Chris was predeceased by his parents, Stuart and Mildred Hall; his sister, Linda Reese Griffin; and his brother, Richard Hall.

A man of many passions, Chris had a lifelong love for racing and spent countless hours building hot rods and working on motorcycles. His enthusiasm for engines and speed was matched only by the warmth he extended to everyone he met. Known affectionately as "the kindest big man you could ever meet," Chris left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

He was cherished by a wide circle of family and friends across the country. Among them Randy Reese(Denise) Michael Reese (Marcy), John Lowder (Sherilyn), Rod and Maria Perkins of Florida; the Alloco family of New York; Mark Blissett of Washington D.C.; and Bill Murdoch of Pennsylvania-just a few names among the many who held him dear.

Chris's legacy is one of generosity, loyalty, and heartfelt friendship. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him. O

Chris was my cousin and a larger than life figure (along with his older brother Richard) in my childhood. We spent more than a few Christmas Eve´s together along with a few family gatherings. After not being in touch for many years, Chris re-connected with me a couple years ago on Facebook and it was so nice to talk to him. My cousin Diana called me a couple weeks ago to let me know that Chris had passed. Such sad news..!! Our days go by so very quickly, wish so much I could slow them down and spend more time with family that are truly the some of the greatest riches in our life.

Chris has been a part of our family since I was a little kid. He was big as a grizzly yet at the same time he was kind, loving, caring man with a huge heart. He use to hunt with me and my brothers and Chris let me tag along with him even though I was a young kid. One time we were riding around in his van looking for deer and we saw a 10 point buck in the field but we were to busy goofing around and listening to his 8 track to get out in time to pull off a shot. Chris was like a big brother to me. I have nothing but love, respect and great memories of Chris. He was a huge part of our family and we all loved and respected him so much. There was alot of us Allocos and he was loving and loyal to everyone of us. Chris will never be forgotten by me. I'm sure he's up there with my brothers living it up like the old days. Rest in peace Brother. All my love and Respect Always! Thanks for being you! Catch ya on the other side. Roger Alloco

There are no words to describe what a man Chris was, truly a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Knowing Chris since the 70's and sharing his love of racing and bikes will never be forgotten. Traveling with him over the road when he was a truck driver will leave memories that were some of the best that I will cherish. His love of music and his talent for percussion hit it off with our son Cody who also shared that same love. Chris went out of his way to acknowledge his talent and was going to be the "truck driving roadie" for the band. He was a part of our family for years. Kim was the best thing that could have happened to him! She is a woman of great strength and filled with love that warmed our hearts for Chris. She cared for him with love and compassion second to none. We still can't believe he is gone and we will not hear his voice again. Until we meet again my brother, rest with Christ.
