Chris, you inspired me in life - to find my voice, to fight the good fight, to be a fearless traveller.... I am trying to find inspiration in your passing.... So, I will take the advice you offered over breakfast in Kenya. Watch me.

You will always be a part of me, my friend. The grief that I feel for your absence only testifies to me how much I loved you. I rejoice in the love we shared; I weep for what was never realized. You changed many people for the good, and so I celebrate your life. May you find rest with God and know that your life mattered.

To the family of Chris, so sorry to hear of your loss. He was a very good person and was so intelligent. He always had a very positive outlook on life, something I admired. He will be missed very much, but will always be remembered.

We miss you, Chris. You will always be remembered.

As the days and weeks pass, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

We join so many others in missing Chris Korpi--and his warm fellowship and laughter. In so many ways Chris has made the world a better place.
