I will always remember Mr.Lampe and his love of baseball. We were playing little league and Lyndon and I were on the same team. He told me I´ve always got a bat for you to use. He pulled out the black magic. I hit my first home run.

I had the unique opportunity of getting to know Chris over the course of a decade as he was a mainstay at the University Club pool. He always took the time to stop by the office to talk Giants baseball or any other topic he had on his mind. The best days were when he would stump me with his incredibly tough and well researched trivia questions. I´ll really miss him but consider myself fortunate to have connected with him in the fashion that we did. My sincere condolences to Leigh and the rest of the family. Chris was a truly incredible presence.

I recently heard of Chris passing away. This is such heartbreaking news. I had the honor of working with Chris as his clerk at Pacific Bell Yellow Pages. He was humble, kind and one of the nicest people I ever met. I had the utmost respect for him. He was so down to earth, I remember he wasn´t really into fancy foods and he loved hamburgers and spaghetti, but only with red sauce. I have only wonderful memories of him. I recall meeting his family whom he was very proud of and loved so dearly. I am so saddened as I know he will leave a great void. My deepest condolences to the Lampe family. I am so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely, Liz Bustos Alborz

Chris you will be missed; however, you left a legacy with your children, love of family and baseball. You always had a kind word, amazing stories and a generally positive attitude. The world was a better place with you in it. Thank you! Love and respect, Greg
