Joanne so sorry for your loss. Chris was responsible for me getting into Golf. He would take me out to rock Hill for a 6 o´clock teetime. It was so dark you couldn´t even see the ball
he was a great teacher, not only in school as my children were fortunate enough to have him as a teacher but as a golf instructor, the lefty could really put the ball out there
I know he´s looking down at everyone and he´s probably found the golf partner up there also

Joanne, Katie and family. So sorry to hear about Chris--I always enjoyed being around him and sailing against him. Lots of good memories. Hang on to those memories and keep telling his stories.

Dear Joanne,
My sympathy goes out to you and your whole family!
So sorry to hear of Chris' passing...he was always my friend & fraternity brother and Little Brother in Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity.
The obituary has it right...everyone liked Chris, so mild mannered...unless you got him angry & then ubbetter look out!
To all the McCrory family...Judy, Jon & Jeannie my heart goes out to ya too. It's been awhile since I saw him last, but Thank you Judy for bringing him to my home/business not too many years ago. It was nice having "yinz" visit me in Pittsburgh.
Am glad he got to live a long full and happy life and will remember Chris during our college years & all the fun we had when I would visit him on Long Island in beginning yrs of teaching....concerts, sporting events, holidays & more! Memories have been popping up numerous times & will remember him forever!
Sincerely,

Dear Joanne- we were all so saddened to hear the news of Chris' passing. We have many fond memories of Chris and the obituary captures his life and spirit well. He certainly was a fighter! He handled his health issues with grit and determination. I will never forget how helpful he was to me during Donnie & Kate's wedding on Bald Head Island-despite those big front steps at 'Om Sweet Home' he navigated like a champ! His suffering brought with it a humility and appreciation for all he encountered. I am sorry we will not be able to be there with you today. Don and I went to mass today to give thanks to God for a life well lived and prayers for the repose of his soul. May the angels lead him to paradise and may his soul rest in peace. Prayers for you as well. Love always, Tricia, Don and family Attached is a family pic from the wedding!!!
