Ruth Hall

Candler – Ruth Taylor Hall, age 89, of Luther Road passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Universal Health Care in Fletcher, NC. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Sally Wooten Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Taylor and a sister, Mary King. Ruth retired from Memorial Mission Hospital as a housekeeper with 25 years service. She attended Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Nancy Taylor of Mathews, Virginia, Judith Dodson of Walling, Tennessee and Lois Smith and her husband, Edward, of Candler; two sons, Ronnie Gosnell and his wife, Bonnie, and Phil Hall all of Candler; four grandchildren, Rhonda Zvara and Brandy Gosnell, Kim Justice and Alex Hall; two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Bobby Howard officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
