Fond memories of Chris:
Ann:"I first met Chris 25 years ago at the Palliser Hotel in Calgary. I was a college student from England and Chris was one of the first impressions I had of a 'Canadian Guy'. Gosh, I thought, Canadian men are so nice compared to the 'blokes' back home. Chris really was such a fun, caring, charismatic man. He was so good at bringing people together; in fact it was Chris who was instrumental to me meeting Joel. While it has been quite a few years since we have been in touch it is no surprise to me how many people have such fond memories of Chris and what a wonderful, loving husband and father he was. I am so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. My sincere condolences to Lisa, Cole and Jared.
Joel:I met Chris in the early 80's working at the Palliser Hotel. We spent many long summer days hanging out at my Uncle's pool. It didn't take long for my Uncle to start calling me to see if Chris was coming by. Chris had the ability to make friends instantly. He had a passion and zest for life that was unequalled. I was fortunate to have known Chris for over 20 years. I have never met another individual like him. Chris was an 'Original'. My heartfelt condolences to Lisa, Cole, Jared and family.
