Dear Herman and family. My mom Gusti Dietrich, was a dear friend of Christa's. We are so very sorry and are thinking of all of you during this sad time. Christa was a great friend to my mom and I know, they had many good times during their years together with the German choir and just hanging out being friends. The Weyers family is so sorry we cannot be at Christa's funeral since we have a prior family commitment. She will be in our thoughts & prayers.

Bob & Lou Weyers & family extend our deepest condolences to the Gardner family. Christa was the sweetest neighbor & friend all the years we lived next door to one another. We always said she was the most glamorous woman on our long block with her beautiful red flowing hair, great smile, best clothes, & always most friendly. It was a sad day when your family left & moved to the "burbs". May our good Lord rest her in eternal peace!
