**Mrs. Christen Noelle Goltl (Lillie), 50**

April 19, 1975 - July 16, 2025

With deep love, we announce the passing of Mrs. Christen Noelle Lillie Goltl on July 16, 2025, in Draper, Utah. She was 50 years old.

Born on April 19, 1975, in Murray, Utah, Christen was a strong and tenacious daughter, spouse, sister, and friend. She was born with the birth defect spina bifida that laid the foundation for her enormous strength and perseverance. She faced many difficult challenges and obstacle's but always managed to keep a sense of humor and laughter in her life. Christen graduated from Olympus High School in 1993. She was also known for her love of photography which taught to her by her uncle Ray. She loved animals especially her cats Liller's and Katy. She loved taking care of her house and her husband Mike. Together they enjoyed NASCAR, NFL, and HGTV. Christen was talented in making handmade lotions which were always in high demand from family, friends, and clients.

As a child growing up with spina bifida she would always find a way to enjoy many activities with her family and friends. At the age of five, she could run with braces and crutches and just about keep up with everyone. Because she was unable to ride bikes, she rode in a toy called a Whiz Wheel that only needed the use of her arms. She would spend hours outside riding the Whiz Wheel and swimming in the backyard pool. In her early twenties, she became certified to scuba dive and went diving in Barbados at her sister's wedding. No matter how difficult things got for her, she would find a way to not only cope, but to thrive. Although she has physically passed on, the memories we have all made and shared will live with us forever.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband Mike Goltl; her mother Chris Lillie; her father Ron Lillie (Cliphanie); her sisters Andrea Calder (Matt) and Becky Heath (Dave); nieces Ellie, Teagan, Demi; nephews Tyson (Brandon), Carter, Trey (Kamree); mother-in-law Gwen Kittel; sister-in-law Pam Grubaugh (Jason); as well as extended family members and dear friends especially Bob and Loretta Stearley, Rene Holden (Josh); Alison Gallagher (James) who touched Christens life and loved her dearly.

Christen was preceded in death by her grandparents Pete and Esther Burt, and Bern and Thelma Olsen.

Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, aides, and entire staff at Draper Rehabilitation and Care who provided exceptional care over the past four years.

Per Christens wishes, no funeral services will be held. The family will be celebrating her life in a private gathering. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Primary Children's Hospital in honor of Christen.

May Christen's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. Her strength will continue to inspire all who carry forward the light she brought into this world.

Chris, I am so sorry, I can´t even imagine your pain...I saw the pic on instagram, but I had no idea....I can picture my aunt and uncle holding her in their arms.
May you find comfort in Christs arms.
