Christi “Chris” Marie Gorham

Christi "Chris" Marie Gorham, a beloved Mother, life partner, grandmother, passed away and entered eternal rest on October 8th, 2023.

A life partner, mother, sister, and grandmother, this is the legacy we have from you.

Chris will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing her. She was born in Milwaukee, traveled the country calling many places "home", but her heart was always in Wisconsin and Florida.

She enjoyed reading a good book (sometimes all in one evening) and listening to music as loud as she could and dancing along to it. She never passed up a good garage sale or thrift store, trips to the beach, get togethers with loved ones and friends, telling jokes, and laughing until she cried.

Her pride and joy was her children and grandchildren she left behind. She is survived by April Vinson and her children in Florida (Ryder, Hunter, and Khloe), Jennifer and Aaron Meilicke with their children in Virginia (Billie, Wyatt, Annabelle, and Kaylee), and Adam Gorham and Kim with their children in Florida (Mia and Dalton). She also leaves behind her life partner and biggest fan, Tom Kronquist. She has two sisters (Cheri and Cathy), many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, step-children from a previous marriage (Roxanne, Jeremiah, and Nicole), and friends from all over the country that will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her oldest son Cody, father of Ryder, Hunter, and Khloe, her mother, Virginia Kontny, her stepfather, Myron Kontny, her father, Tom Szopinski, and her brothers, Steven and David "Red".

She would not want us to mourn her, but to celebrate her and her life, remember her fondly, speak of her often, share stories and photos, laugh at her, and love each other.
