SCHERFF, Christian Nicholas Christian Nicholas Scherff, of Colleyville, TX passed away on September 9, 2017. He will always be remembered as a loving son, brother and friend to all who knew him. Christian was born on May 10, 1996 in Ft. Worth, TX to Bradley Scherff and Katherine Almon. After graduating high school at Chisholm Trail in Ft. Worth, TX, Christian was the recipient of a baseball scholarship to Arizona State University. Instead of taking his scholarship for baseball Christian chose to travel for 2 years. At the time of his death he was enrolled in the University of North Texas pursuing a degree in biology with hopes of becoming a doctor. Christian's inspiring spirit and his giving loving demeanor was imprinted on many. Christian enjoyed hunting and fishing at his ranch in the hill country, playing baseball and working out. He had a love of sports cars and in particular high-performance diesel trucks. Christian built an award-winning diesel truck for his father that is still cherished today. Christian left us entirely too soon and he will be dearly cherished and loved forever. Christian always created one smile on the room and it was infectious. It's not good-bye to Christian, it's see you later. Christian is survived by his parents Bradley and Whitney Scherff, Katherine Almon, brother Alexander Scherff, grandparents Debbie and Dwight Stevenson and grandfather Joe Bowden. The visitation will be held at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, TX on September 13 from 6-8pm. The Funeral Service will be held on September 14 at 12:30pm at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home in Colleyville, TX. ln lieu of flowers please make donations to Colley-ville Heritage Baseball Booster Club.

I'll never forget the first time I met Christian and how he approached me to introduce himself as Joseph's "new friend." He was so polite but what impressed me most was how confident he was for a young boy! He honestly didn't know a stranger and I could see why Joseph looked "up to him". We have many great memories and will always be a "baseball family"❤
It's hard to find the "right" words at a time like this, because they're really aren't any.... Just know my Love and Prayers are with you during this most difficult time❤❤❤

My granddaughter, Ashley, was Chris's girlfriend. We so enjoyed getting to be around Chris. He had that million dollar smile that lit up the room. He was so handsome, so polite, and so loving to Ashley. It was always a pleasure to know he'd be joining us for dinner. Our hearts are broken. I'm praying for you all to soon find peace with this great sadness.
